Announcement of Symposium
“Informational Health from Japan to the World
~Driving toward Digital Health through International Collaboration~”

■Overview

Several years have passed since the concept of “informational health”- which means to achieve the information intake status that each individual desires through awareness of the balance of information intake- was first proposed. However, the health of the information space has not improved, but rather has worsened as “Attention economy” has progressed. In addition, problems surrounding the information space, such as the proliferation of disinformation and misinformation concerning war, no longer transcend national borders, and there is a strong need to make an international framework.

In this symposium, while viewing the discussions in various countries on healthy information space, we will further examine the concept of “informational health” , as well as the ideal information space to which Japan and the world should aim at in the future, from an international perspective. In addition, in order to address the problems of the information space through an international framework, we would like to promote “informational health” internationally and use it as an opportunity to collaborate with research institutions and researchers in other countries.
